Council adopts four ordinances including police administrative fee and three right‑of‑way vacations

"Tonight, we have public hearings on ordinances beginning with number 26‑18, an ordinance amending chapter 101, police department article 10 general provisions, section 55 rates of compensation, administrative fee, payment for services, fee for patrol vehicle use," the borough solicitor stated while presenting the package. After council opened the floor and received no speakers, Councilman Halter moved to close the public portion and adopt Ordinances 26‑18 through 26‑21; the motion was seconded and carried by roll call.
The other three ordinances authorize right‑of‑way vacations for portions of Deptford Road (26‑19), Cornell Road (26‑20) and Lehigh Road (26‑21) in the borough of Glassboro. Council conducted the votes consecutively as a single motion to adopt; no amendments or public objections were recorded in the hearing.
