Glassboro council confirms three police promotions and administers oath to sworn personnel

"I would like to congratulate our promotions this evening for Lieutenant Michael Fanferillo, sergeant Sarah Scaphelato, Corporal Jason Skidmore and patrol officer Jacob Gentile," Council President Miller said, thanking them "for all of the tireless work that they dedicate to the Glassboro Police Department, knowing that they've joined the best police department in the state." The promotions were advanced as resolutions, moved and seconded on the floor, and adopted by roll call vote.
The ceremonial portion included a formal oath. David Denton also repeated the oath in the chamber during the swearing. Mayor Wallace and council members offered public congratulations and noted community gratitude for departmental service during recent events. No further departmental policy changes were proposed during the ceremony.
