The council approved a replat affecting blocks 26 and 73 of the original town plat to correct existing property-line issues and establish mutual access and drainage easements.
Director of Planning and Development Eric (speaker 2) described the replat as follows: “This is just a replat, something that came up when we're talking to the developer about maintaining and doing some code enforcement stuff on their properties... it cleans up that yellow line that currently goes through the building and subdivides the current lot that they're trying to create, and then the red line is the new lot.” Council approved the replat and the presiding official recorded the vote as unanimous.
Staff noted the replat will attach to an existing developer agreement and that lift-station work and other design criteria increased costs, prompting a need to reevaluate PID financing for the developer. The replat resolves parcel boundaries and clarifies access and drainage rights.
