The commission approved an administrative-approval letter documenting a small reduction in the project's previously estimated altered area for the Lincoln Street well treatment upgrades.
Anne Malenfont of CDM Smith explained the change results from final design refinements to a replacement pump house and associated work, and said the reduction does not alter the approved order conditions: "We're asking just to have it officially on, on the record... to make sure that we have everything appropriately, documented," she told the commission. The changes reduce the project's permanent altered area in the riverfront by roughly 3,000 square feet and the bordering land subject to flooding by about 250 square feet, according to the submission. Commissioners voted unanimously to issue the administrative-approval letter so the final impact accounting can be included in the state revolving-fund application materials.
