Developer previews Gordon College Woods plan and files ANRAD for wetlands confirmation

Representatives of Jefferson Apartment Group introduced a conceptual plan for development on Gordon College property north of Route 128 and told the commission they will submit an ANRAD to confirm wetland delineations before pursuing building design or detailed site work.
Lauren Jesnicki of Jefferson Apartment Group said the concept includes three buildings in two pads, with the West Building containing 175 units and the East Building 110 units: "The West Building contains a 175 units. The East Building contains a 110 units," she said. Wetland scientist Stacy Minahan (Beals & Thomas) said the team had placed roughly 200 field flags and planned to submit an ANRAD filing soon. Commissioners discussed whether to schedule a site walk after the ANRAD filing, how peer review might be initiated if Bethany identifies complex delineations, and agreed to a filing deadline tied to the commission's rescheduled September meeting. The developer and staff were asked to provide ANRAD materials to the commission and the public prior to the hearing so peer-review proposals can be solicited if warranted.
