Staff announces training, community planting and holiday dinner; no public comments

Kendra, the staff member, invited commissioners to an in-person training on Thursday, Nov. 13 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at City Hall that will include legal updates and count for 1.5 hours of required training if the member attended the previous session. She also invited members to a Dec. 8 holiday dinner at the Creek Collective (6 p.m.) and asked commissioners to RSVP to Kelly Lovett, the clerk. Additionally, staff announced a strawberry-planting event at the Food Forest in McCants Park on Thursday, Nov. 6 from 2 to 5 p.m.
Staff reiterated several local development updates in the area and noted an informational plat and water/sewer easement had been previously approved for 119 North Goose Creek Boulevard. The commission then moved to adjourn.
