Bruno Sabatier urged greater transparency about the status of the 21 parcels still targeted for acquisition, requesting a regular report that lists each property27s status, recent outreach attempts, ownership changes, and the party responsible for next steps. The committee agreed acquisition updates should become a standardized agenda item.
On federal outreach, Sabatier said congressional engagement had been disappointing and recommended updates be sent to the offices of Cecilia Aguiar-Curry and John Ferrera, who had helped secure prior funding and extensions. Michael Bedar said he would draft an update letter to those offices to clarify project needs and coordinate future extension or funding requests.
