S1 said the city would keep a 500-foot buffer around the operations, remove a 300-foot setback for a lower parcel only if those operations are fully enclosed, and shorten the previously proposed annexation term from five years to three. "We have an agreement. We have an amendment. We changed three things in the amendment," S1 said.
Staff are still finalizing language with city attorneys Courtney (S8) and other staff members to make sure the agreement protects both the city and the developer over the long term before the item proceeds through planning and zoning review.
