The South Weber City Local Building Authority opened a public hearing on the fiscal year 2026 tentative budget at the start of its May 20, 2025 meeting. Board member Angie Petty moved to open the hearing and Blair Halverson seconded; President Rod Westbroek called for a voice vote and "Board Members Davis, Dills, Halverson, Petty, Westbroek and Winsor voted aye," carrying the motion.
President Westbroek asked whether any members of the public wanted to comment on the tentative budget; the meeting record notes, "No public comment was received." Later in the same meeting, Board member Blair Halverson moved to close the public hearing, Angie Petty seconded, and a voice vote again recorded all listed board members as voting aye. The hearing was therefore opened and closed on May 20 without public testimony. The record lists the meeting time as 7:29 p.m. and attendees including Paul Sturm, Michael Grant, and Lynn Poll.
