Commissioners recognize Sentinel Little League District 29 champions

San Patricio County Commissioners Court adopted a resolution July 6 recognizing the Sentinel Little League 2026 District 29 major all-star team for winning the Texas East District 29 championship and for advancing to the Texas East Section 4 state tournament.
The county judge read the resolution aloud, listing players and coaches and thanking the team for representing Sinton and the district. "Whereas the SENT Little League 20 26 major all star team proudly represented the city of SENTIN and the SENTIN community throughout the post season Little League competition," the judge read as part of the formal resolution. The court asked the team to come to the front for a photo and several commissioners and staff offered congratulations; a commissioner offered to host a pizza party for the team.
The resolution passed on the record and the court invited team members and coaches to recess for breakfast while continuing the meeting.
