County attorney seeks Axon and HotDocs licenses, plus additional staff for heavy CPS caseload

The attorney also requested a new assistant county attorney to handle juveniles, truancy, and protective orders, an additional investigator to handle case reviews, and a legal secretary. She identified roughly $7,000 in lab testing costs last year related to substance testing and said some positions might be supported by SB 22 funds but cautioned that if SB 22 funding is reduced, staff could be at risk.
