Council members raised safety concerns (children climbing), options to fence or raise the sign on a footer, and the possibility of integrating the sign concept with repurposing the city water tower in the park. Members asked staff to bring the item to a workshop on Jan. 17 so the council and public can review design alternatives and placement options before final approval.
