Council notes storm and sewer approval for Walnut Grove Commercial Center

Joe Walter, introduced by the chair as the city’s zoning/finance staff member, told the council that several development items are under review and that the Walnut Grove Commercial Center has received approval for storm and sewer work. "I think we finally got the storm and sewer has built approved for Walnut Grove Commercial Center," he said, noting staff would follow up on project activity and impacts from roundabout construction.
The update came during the administrative zoning report. Walter said other projects may be inactive and that he would research outstanding items with staff. No public testimony or extended debate on the center’s utilities was recorded; the council proceeded to other agenda items after staff comments.
