Bolton re-elects fire leadership; new tanker expected for Memorial Day Parade

At its May 23 meeting, the Bolton Fire Department held its annual elections. Chief Bruce Dixon and Deputy Chief Peter Morra were re-elected to their positions; Joseph "Chip" White was elected president of the corporation, the minutes state.
Chief Dixon also reported on department equipment: annual and emergency services were performed on ET334, Rescue 134 and Truck 134, and some new equipment was purchased to replace aging gear. He said he and others traveled to Wisconsin earlier in the month for a final inspection of the new tanker; the minutes note the vehicle as Tanker 234 and state it is expected to be delivered by the Memorial Day Parade on May 29, 2017.
