Commission members reported that decorative parking signs and pedestrian signs have been fabricated but remain undelivered because the vendor has not yet received the final check. Committee member (S2) said Randy has emailed Scott Davis multiple times without a response and that the city will not receive the signs until the vendor confirms payment.
“Randy sent me a message that that that signed somebody has not see received the the final check. Once they get that, then they'll release the signs to the city,” S2 said, describing the payment hold. Members agreed staff should follow up with Scott Davis and the vendor to expedite delivery.
Rooftop lighting also remains unresolved. S2 said the electrical contractor (Sobe Electric) has not completed top lighting work and the commission will wait for that vendor to get onboard before finalizing arrangements for decorative lighting.
