Council reviewed and approved the city’s October and November financial reports and the FY25 final financial report at the Dec. 8 meeting. The presiding officer summarized cumulative income for the two months, customer deposit figures, accounts receivable concerns and overall FY25 totals before the council voted to approve the reports unanimously.
“For the year year ending September 30, we took in $524,000,” the presiding officer said, and noted the city’s expenditures were nearly $439,000; the officer also explained that ending fund balance figures include fixed assets such as the city building and water equipment. Council asked staff for follow-up on deposit accounting and monthly separation of water and general government activity.
