Applicant Jamie Daniel told the board she lives at the address and said she has a disability that makes pool maintenance difficult. She asked for the enclosure so she can continue to use the pool, saying neighbors in the neighborhood already have similar structures. "I have a physical disability, which makes it difficult for me to keep up with the pool," Daniel said, adding the enclosure would reduce maintenance and allow her to be outside without being driven indoors by bugs and heat.
A board member moved to follow the staff recommendation and the motion received a second. The board voted in favor of the staff recommendation; no audience opposition was recorded on the public record. The board closed the public hearing and the variance was approved in accordance with the staff findings.
