Public works director Gene Legurski returned a postponed lease amendment with Verizon Wireless and described the revisions addressed after legal review. Deputy county attorney John De Leon told the board he was "just concerned about the non compete, clause that was removed," noting the contract before the board reflected that change.
After brief discussion the board moved, seconded and unanimously approved the 1st amendment to the land-lease agreement and authorized the chairman to sign. County staff said the amendment resolves previously raised issues and requires only the chairman's signature for execution.
