Kalkaska commissioners approve GIS, phone-system and accounting contracts; appoint FOIA coordinator

The board approved Colligio service proposals totaling $20,900 (CGIS1012-WO19 for $1,800; CGIS1012-WO18 for $15,600; CGIS1012-WO17 for $3,500) for parcel maintenance, GIS services and 911 maintenance. Commissioners also waived portions of Purchasing Policy #400 to permit review and approval of a BSB phone-system upgrade and accepted BSB’s proposal for $69,875.79 to be paid from account #237.000.963.000.
The board likewise waived purchasing requirements to consider the H&S Accounting Agreement and approved the annual renewal with H&S Companies. In addition, the board appointed the County Administrator/CFO as the county’s FOIA Coordinator. Commissioners said the procurements were intended to ensure continuity of GIS, 911 and communications services.
