The Kalkaska County Board of Commissioners on Nov. 19 approved Budget Amendments 2025-045 and 047–062 (with corrections to several entries) and authorized payment of post-approved bills totaling $3,899,760.77, plus $267,838.14 in General Fund bills and two payroll runs (Payroll #21 for $219,360.22 and Payroll #22 for $218,678.76).
Commissioner Jeff Sieting moved to approve payment of the bills and payroll and the motion passed by roll call. The board also authorized the county administrator/CFO to pay all necessary bills prior to year-end and to make necessary budget amendments through the end of 2025 to mitigate overages. The motions included standard approvals for commissioner per diem and salary payments.
