The Douglas County Planning & Zoning Committee voted to approve Petition No. 26-1, changing 6 acres in the Town of Brule from F-1 (Forestry) to C-1 (Commercial) to permit a new municipal building intended for garage and office space. The committee recorded the action as an ordinance referral to the County Board on a motion by Scott Luostari, seconded by Bill Fennessey; the motion carried unanimously.
Committee members noted that the Town of Brule registered no objections to the petition. The item will proceed to the County Board for final action; staff will forward the ordinance referral and supporting materials as part of the board packet.
