Board delays use of $100,000 EDC funding for facade grant until council ordinance is revised

Board member Snyder moved to postpone action until the city council revises the ordinance governing the facade program, citing a desire to align program rules with funding deployment. The motion was seconded and passed 6-0. One member detailed potential program design questions, including materials standards and how the city and property owners would share costs.
No funds were reallocated in the meeting; staff will return with revised ordinance information and, if needed, a recommendation for program implementation once council clarifies the governing rules.
