The Hutto Economic Development Corporation unanimously approved its November 2025 financial report at the Dec. 8 meeting after a presentation by Assistant Finance Director Christina Bishop.
Bishop told the board that "for the first two months of the fiscal year, revenues over expenditures are $550,000," and that she added an incentives schedule at the request of the board. Members asked for that schedule to include more detail about each incentive agreement's deliverables, remaining balances and whether awards are reimbursements or direct grants. Bishop said she can provide an expanded spreadsheet or the full Excel workbook showing deliverables and remaining amounts.
After brief discussion, Vice Chair Morales moved to approve the financial report; the motion was seconded and the roll call vote carried 6-0. Board members agreed to follow up with staff about formatting for monthly packets so incentive commitments and expiration dates are easier to track.
The approval keeps the corporation's financial oversight on its regular cadence and asks staff for clearer tracking of outstanding incentive obligations.
