Commission approves a series of indigent legal services agreements and notes a budget shortfall

Michael McGinnis updated the commission that the IDC continued prior grants and the county did not lose funding; county finance staff noted the grant-agreement plus current county budget will not cover contract increases and anticipates a roughly $3,000 additional appropriation in December because the grant operates on a fiscal year while the county budget follows a calendar year. Commissioners approved grant agreement 26-34 and agreements 26-35 through 26-40 by individual motions and voice votes.
