Investigator Furland testified she inspected the property on July 11, 2024, photographed the pool and found no permit in county records. "I did not find any permits for this pool," she said while presenting photos and property appraiser printouts. Respondents Lawrence Everett Oliver and Deborah Joy Brian Oliver testified the unit was placed by their adult son, that they removed it after county contact, and asked for leniency because they are on a fixed income. Magistrate Fuller noted he was constrained by Florida statute 489.1275(f) from reducing the fine further and set the $500 penalty. The order grants a limited extension in another case read into the record earlier and reminds parties they may obtain a verbatim record for appeal.
