Panel schedules hearing next month on Granny Rose preliminary plat in Dixon Township

Staff told the panel that next month they expect to receive a petition for a preliminary plat for a subdivision currently known as the Granny Rose site in Dixon Township. "Next month, we will have a petition for preliminary plat," Alice said, and added the item is currently in the sketch plan phase.
Alice said the parcel lies within a mile and roughly 0.5 miles of the City of Dixon and that the county will need to follow Dixon's siting standards for subdivisions in addition to the county's own procedures. She said a hearing on the preliminary plat is expected next month and that staff are working through the sketch plan phase now. No members of the public spoke on the item during the meeting.
