The board reviewed a series of maintenance and repair items across county drains and culverts and recorded contractor assignments and follow-ups.
Chad’s Excavating, Inc. was contracted for erosion repairs on Blanchard–Norman Drain No. 23-40 (under culverts between sections 3 and 4), and for a cleanout of Roseville Drain No. 19 from Bridge No. 3875 to the SE¼ of Section 27 in Roseville Township. Civil Specialties, Inc. was contracted to remove trees along Garfield Drain No. 32 (sections 14 and 23) and remove a dilapidated pipe on Mickelson Drain No. 13 (Section 2); Civil Specialties will also remove tree pile cleanup on N. Mayville Drain No. 8 this summer. Naastad Bros. Inc. is scheduled to repair damaged culverts on Hatton Drain No. 45 in 2026. Secretary-Treasurer Jessica Spaeth will contact C&C Excavating, LLC to obtain a signature on an agreement to install a culvert in Section 12 in Eldorado Township.
Several items will require site staking, contractor coordination, and in some cases coordination with the county highway department for bridge installations (e.g., Bridge No. 304). At least one potential land purchase staking request (Miller Drain No. 29) was requested by Manager Neset to evaluate acquisition needs.
