Committee declines to pursue WI DOR Innovation Grant after review with Village of Cecil

Clerk/Treasurer Michelle Maroszek and Director Jesse Rankin reported on meetings with Jeff Nolan and Bob Weier of the Village of Cecil and participation in a state webinar on the Wisconsin Department of Revenue (WI DOR) Innovation Grant Program. They reported that Cecil had no services to transfer that would meet the grant's requirements and that many webinar participants said they did not qualify under the program's guidelines.
Committee member Tim Kelley moved to remove the agenda item and not pursue the grant at this time; Kay Zuleger seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The minutes state the Village may revisit the grant if the WI DOR changes the program guidelines.
