Natasha Cheek updated CPMT that Regional Service Coordination provides services for Department of Juvenile Justice youth on probation or parole, pre‑dispositional youth, and post‑dispositional youth, and that DJJ is treated as a last resort for funding in many cases. She said additional funding from VJCCCA remains in place for those services.
Claiborne Warner reported that the State Executive Council met earlier the same day and that there is a push to reinstate Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) funding through Title IV‑E. Members did not take formal action on the announcements during the meeting.
