CPMT considers adding public comment and a strategic planning retreat to agenda

Brady Nemeyer, Hanover CSA coordinator, presented sample agenda formats and recommended steps to increase engagement, including adding a public comment period and a standing strategic planning item. Nemeyer said the sample came from the City of Richmond CPMT and cautioned not all practices would transfer directly to Hanover.
Chair Bret Schardein asked that a public comment section be added to the agenda and asked whether the CPMT bylaws require changes; Nemeyer agreed to explore whether bylaw changes are needed. Jaime Hanks noted pending private day placements may not be authorized for sharing with CPMT but that data on current cases could be further discussed. Nemeyer also recommended the agencies that comprise CPMT share their strategic plans so CPMT planning efforts could align.
