Hanover County’s Community Policy and Management Team met June 25 and discussed updating the county’s FY22 strategic plan after receiving feedback from OCS that the plan needs more measurable goals. Brady Nemeyer, the county CSA coordinator, said the FY22 plan is the most current but would benefit from clearer metrics and implementation steps.
"Mr. Nemeyer recommended creating a work group or planning a retreat to update the strategic plan based on OCS recommendations and Hanover goals," the meeting record states. CPMT members discussed possible approaches for revising the plan; Claiborne Warner said Shineforth had been used by other local organizations and suggested it as an option for the county.
Members did not vote on a specific next step at the June 25 meeting; staff were asked to consider formation of a work group or the logistics of a retreat and return with options.
