Floresville ISD adopts Wilson County hazard mitigation plan resolution to preserve FEMA grant eligibility

He explained that adoption does not obligate the district to complete projects but keeps the district eligible to apply for federal funds.
Potential district projects listed in the plan include HVAC upgrades, covered shelters for buses and playgrounds, improved bus AC systems, generators at key facilities, weather-resistant rooftops and xeriscaping with native plants. Administration recommended approval and the board adopted the resolution to remain eligible for FEMA mitigation funds (6–0).
