Cass County approves heater relocations at Longville shop; contractor to cost‑share

Bids for the relocation and associated electrical work produced a net county cost of $4,171 after Martin Mechanical agreed to pay one‑half of the total.
Boege described the safety risks associated with the improper installations and said the low bid combined with the cost‑sharing arrangement made the relocation the prudent option. Commissioner Neal Gaalswyk moved to approve the work with Samualson‑Laney for a net county cost of $4,171; the motion passed unanimously.
