Nobles County commissioners on Nov. 18 approved the county’s 2026–2027 Feedlot Delegation Agreement with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA), renewing the county’s delegated authority to administer feedlot permits.
County staff told the board that the delegations are routine every two years but include a few changes to reflect recent MPCA permit and statute updates. The board voted to approve the work plan as presented (moved by Commissioner Justin Ahlers; seconded by Commissioner Bob Paplow). No roll‑call tally was recorded in the minutes.
