Floresville ISD recognizes teachers and students of the month

The board opened its Oct. 6 meeting with recognition of staff and students across the district.
Diana Wagner, principal of Floresville Early Childhood Center, introduced Yvette Espinosa as the teacher of the month and highlighted Espinosa's 24 years of teaching experience and mentoring role at the campus. "My name is Diana Wagner. I'm the proud principal of Floresville Early Childhood Center," Wagner said before presenting Espinosa and describing her classroom practice and leadership.
North Elementary's Miss Cruz introduced fifth‑grade students Ava Gamble and Jacob Morales as students of the month and detailed their leadership, academic strengths and extracurricular interests. The board and community partners, including the Lions Club and Green Acres, presented small tokens and gift certificates to the honorees.
Trustees praised the honorees for their dedication to students, and the board thanked community partners for ongoing support.
