Board approves $273,226 Trane chiller replacement for middle school to reduce ongoing repairs

Administration said the cost is built into the current budget and the replacement is the more cost-effective long-term option.
Board members asked about recovery of refrigerant and reuse of salvageable components; administration said reusable parts would be salvaged where feasible and that the project schedule aims for minimal disruption to school operations.
