The presentation noted 24 total IBC exams were administered in 2024–25, including five new exams, and that some pathways show opportunities to improve passing rates. The district reported a projected CCMR rate of 83% for the year, a roughly 7 percent increase from the prior year, and highlighted efforts to expand CTSO chapters and middle-school CTE course offerings.
Board members asked clarifying questions about retest attempts, tracking of high-school credit for younger students, and how the district plans to improve passing rates; staff said options include more practice resources, alternate approved exams and teacher training.
