Jon Harris reviewed the list, which identified Forestry Department priorities as Gordon Dam repair ($325,000), a new crawler dozer ($310,000, or a lesser initial reserve-savings amount), and County Forest Road improvements ($175,000, or a lesser reserve-savings amount); the Fairgrounds/Speedway request prioritized a building roof replacement estimated at $65,000.
Nick Baker moved and Dennis Cummings seconded a motion to approve and prioritize the 2026 CIP requests as presented, to separate Forestry Department requests from the Fairgrounds/Speedway request, and to refer the prioritized requests to the Administration Committee. The motion carried unanimously, and the referral sends the prioritized requests to Administration for review and any budget adjustments.
