The Springdale Planning Commission convened at 5:01 p.m. on March 4, 2026, at the Canyon Community Center. Chair Jennifer McCulloch presided; commissioners present included Paul Zimmerman, Terry Kruschke, Kashif Bhatti (designated voting member), Tom Kenaston and Matt Fink from Zion National Park. Two commissioners were excused.
Paul Zimmerman moved to approve the meeting agenda; the motion was seconded by Terry Kruschke and passed unanimously. Zoning Administrator Kyndal Sagers announced that the current week is "Local's Week" and reminded the public of the Town Birthday event Friday from 2–4 p.m. Director Thomas Dansie described two surveys available to residents: a Utah State University community well-being survey and a separate Messaging Initiative survey. The commission adjourned at 5:44 p.m. after a motion by Paul Zimmerman, seconded by Terry Kruschke; that motion also passed unanimously.
