Following discussion and a separate postponement of the Bluffs at Blackhawk phase 1, the commission voted to postpone three additional final‑plat items (agenda items 5.4, 5.5 and 5.6) to the Jan. 6, 2026 Planning & Zoning meeting. Each postponement passed by a 3-2 vote.
Chair Hudson explained the intent of the postponements was to allow staff and the developer to provide clarifying information rather than to block projects outright; Hudson asked that the developer be invited to the January meeting to answer questions. "I would like to ask that the developer is invited in to answer some of these questions," Hudson said. Opposing commissioners cautioned that postponements may only delay an ultimately inevitable approval under existing agreements, but the majority said additional information was needed before approval.
The postponements do not constitute denials; they are procedural delays to gather additional materials and developer responses ahead of the next scheduled meeting.
