Floresville ISD board establishes policy and finance committees and adopts TASB local policy updates

Administration said the policy committee will review proposed local policy updates and make recommendations to the board; the finance committee will review finance items in preparation for budget recommendations. A motion to accept the administration's recommendation passed by show of hands, 7-0.
The board also considered TASB policy update 01/2026. Administration recommended adoption of a set of local policy additions, revisions and deletions (with specified exceptions). After a motion and second, trustees approved the recommended local policy changes by a 7-0 vote.
