The FLORESVILLE ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve the consent agenda at its Dec. 1 meeting, accepting prior meeting minutes and the district's month-start financial reports.
"Administration recommends the board approve the consent agenda as presented," said Dr. Gilstrap, who presented the packet and financials. Dr. Lilliana Martinez moved to approve the recommendation and Marshall Fleer seconded; Board President Steven Shodrock announced the vote was 6–0 in favor. The board had received the financial materials the first day of the month and placed them in the digital agenda for review.
The consent motion closed routine business and the board proceeded to administrative updates about the school calendar, board training opportunities and student recognitions. Trustees emphasized continuing review of attendance and enrollment data as the administration finalizes calendar recommendations for presentation in January.
