Senior planner Nathan Jury summarized a minor plat application (MP-250006) for Merlin Commercial Park, describing a plan to combine/reconfigure existing recorded lots so that Lot 3 may be sold to a Kwik Trip site while the shopping center retains Lot 1.
"Staff does recommend approval, as this is in compliance with the PR, preliminary site development plan that was approved by Planning Commission just this last summer, for the quick trip development," Nathan Jury said, noting no right-of-way dedications or easements were required and that Lot 2 from the 5th plat is not included because its property lines are unchanged.
Commissioners asked clarifying questions; following a motion and second the commission approved the minor plat by voice vote, 6 to 0. The approval does not require city council review because it is a minor plat, and staff recommended approval with no stipulations.
