The Daggett County Planning and Zoning Board approved two short-term rental renewal applications during its May 19 meeting.
The board voted to approve the renewal for Bob and Beckie Niederer at 855 W. Highway 43, contingent on a building inspector's review regarding the property's maximum occupancy and then forwarding the application to the County Commission for review. Tamara Twitchell made the motion and Allan Wood seconded.
The board also approved the short-term rental renewal for Bonnie Youngber at 616 S. Bennion Lane after discussion and review; Allan Wood moved to approve and Tamara Twitchell seconded. The board recorded the votes as "all in favor" for both items.
The board noted the county code limits one short-term rental per lot and asked staff to confirm occupancy restrictions and building-inspector findings before final county-level action.
