Council confirms Lindsay Gagnon to Community Human Services Advisory Board

Staff advised the council that two applications were received for two vacancies and one applicant withdrew, leaving one vacancy if the confirmation passed. Gagnon spoke briefly about her six years as a Monroe resident, prior service on the Human Services Advisory Board, and her current role as executive director of Interfaith Family Shelter. Councilmember Gamble moved to confirm Gagnon to position 1 with a term ending Dec. 31, 2029; the motion was seconded and carried 7–0.
Gagnon thanked the council and expressed hope to rejoin the board and serve the community through volunteer service.
