Land Bank to issue RFP for joint contract with Brownfield Redevelopment Authority

Members reviewed current Land Bank Authority contracts, including the joint contract with Fishbeck and the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and service agreements with Manistee County; all contracts were noted to expire on Sept. 30, 2026. The board reached consensus to issue a request for proposals for the joint agreement with the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority while continuing to contract with the County.
Katie Gruenberg, Project Manager, said a revised procurement-policy draft will be prepared for the next meeting to reflect desired contract terms and review periods. The Authority’s direction was procedural: staff will prepare documents necessary to solicit proposals for the joint services agreement and return recommended language and procurement steps to the board for review.
