The Manistee County Land Bank Authority voted unanimously on March 16, 2026, to authorize reallocation of Round 4 blight elimination administrative funds, not to exceed $60,000, into the 141 Washington Street project budget. Eric Gustad, Secretary/Treasurer, moved the measure and Mitch Deisch seconded; the roll call recorded Yeas: Nelson, Buren, Gustad, Jones, Deisch and the motion carried.
The reallocation follows a staff update that a partial reimbursement for the 141 Washington Street (Hotel Northern) project has been approved and is currently pending. Katie Gruenberg, Project Manager, confirmed reimbursement materials for 141 Washington Street have been submitted; the board’s action directs existing administrative funds to that project to cover eligible remaining costs. The board recorded no dissent and did not attach additional conditions to the transfer.
