Jim Hockensmith, owner of the building that houses Sugarlump, told trustees he received the door from the contractor but that the window order was delayed and "the window will not be delivered until mid-December, so he is requesting an extension to December 31 to complete the project and submit receipts to the Clerk for reimbursement." Trustees approved allowing the 2025 Façade Grant applicant to finish work after the original Dec. 1 deadline.
The Board’s approval permits the contractor to complete the remaining work and for the owner to submit final documentation for reimbursement by the Dec. 31 extension date. Trustees did not attach additional conditions to the extension at the meeting.
