The Milton Board of Civil Authority approved prior meeting minutes and recessed its special meeting on July 29, 2026 while setting follow-up hearings for pending tax assessment appeals.
Wendell Noble moved to approve the BCA minutes from June 22, 2026, with a second from Denise Hughes; the motion passed unanimously. Later in the session the board appointed inspection committee volunteers (Denise Hughes, Lonnie Poland and Kary Towne) to examine parcels related to two separate telecommunications appeals and recessed both hearings to Wednesday, Aug. 19 at 6:00 PM.
Brenda Steady made motions to recess and to close the meeting; Denise Hughes seconded both and the motions passed unanimously. The meeting was recessed at 6:29 PM. Clerk Kristin Beers recorded and submitted the minutes.
