Roberts council approves FY2027 general fund budget revision

The Roberts Town Council adopted a fiscal year 2027 general fund budget revision resolution after returning to open session. Chair opened the item and moved "to approve the fiscal year 20 27 general fund budget revision 1 resolution as presented," and Staff member read the resolution language and noted the motion had been moved and recorded for the record.
The resolution text included an updated levy estimate and direction that the budget reflect prior expenditures or obligations where appropriations were insufficient, subject to approval by the state auditor as ex officio chief inspector of public offices, according to the reading. The council approved the resolution by roll call; the motion carried 7-0.
